Teacher Appreciation Award in Washoe and Clark Counties
The Teacher Appreciation Awards is a bi-annual event that allows us to engage with the community and celebrate the teachers who are nominated by students and fellow staff as the best teachers in the district. We hold this competition in both Clark County, LV, and Washoe County, Reno.
Please Note:
Even if you’ve already nominated a teacher during our previous rounds, you can nominate them again. Choosing just three winners from such a large pool of qualified candidates twice a year is difficult, so please continue highlighting the teachers you feel are doing an exceptional job. The only teachers who are not eligible are those who have previously received a prize.
Giving Back to Those Who Make a Difference
Teachers have played a huge role in the lives of everyone involved with De Castroverde Law Group. In addition to the educators who influenced attorneys and staff during their time in school, the firm also has a personal connection to the profession. Alex’s wife was a first-grade teacher and speech pathologist for the district. In addition, Alex and Orlando’s sister is currently a first-grade teacher at a public school in Las Vegas. De Castroverde Law Group is committed to supporting our local educators and the children they teach. Nominations for the 2024 Teacher Appreciation Awards at De Castroverde Law Group
The Teacher Appreciation Awards, hosted biannually by De Castroverde Law Group, honor exceptional educators in Clark County/Las Vegas and Washoe County/Reno. This community event allows students and staff to nominate standout teachers, with only three winners selected each round.

Nominations for the current awards close on November 3, and even previously nominated teachers are eligible again, provided they haven’t won before.
