At De Castroverde Law Group, we have always believed that being a “local” firm means more than just having an office in the neighborhood. It means being a pillar of the community, a voice for the underserved, and a partner in the growth of Las Vegas and North Las Vegas.
As we move through 2026, we are humbled to reflect on a series of honors from 2025 and early 2026 that highlight our team’s dedication to the people of Clark County. These awards aren’t just trophies on a shelf; they are a testament to our mission of service.
A Bridge to the Hispanic Community: The Mexican Consulate Recognition
One of our most meaningful milestones in 2025 was receiving a Reconocimiento (Recognition) from the Consul De Mexico en Las Vegas.
For years, our firm has worked tirelessly to provide accessible, high-quality legal counsel to the Hispanic community. This recognition from the Consulate acknowledges our role not just as attorneys, but as advocates who help families navigate the complexities of the American legal system with dignity and respect. Whether through immigration assistance or personal injury advocacy, our commitment to our Spanish-speaking neighbors remains a core value of De Castroverde Law Group.
Investing in the Future of Nevada Law
Our ties to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) run deep. In 2025, the William S. Boyd School of Law presented De Castroverde Law Group with a Certificate of Appreciation.
We believe that the strength of the Las Vegas legal community depends on the quality of education and mentorship provided to the next generation. By supporting UNLV’s legal programs, we are investing in a future where every Southern Nevada resident has access to brilliant, ethical legal representation.
Leadership in Local Business and Wellness
Community impact is also about being “on the ground.” This past year, the Vegas Chamber honored us with the Best Swag award at the North Las Vegas Business Expo. While a lighthearted category, it reflects our team’s enthusiasm for engaging with local business owners and residents in North Las Vegas.
Furthermore, our team’s spirit was on full display at the Andale 5k, where De Castroverde Law Group placed in the Top 3 for Most Team Members. At De Castroverde Law Group, we don’t just talk about community health and wellness; we lace up our running shoes and participate alongside our neighbors.
Individual Excellence: 2025-2026 Award Highlights
While we celebrate as a firm, we are also incredibly proud of the individual milestones reached by our talented team:
- Millie Mummery – 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Star: Millie’s selection to the Rising Stars list is a prestigious honor that recognizes the top 2.5% of attorneys in the Mountain States. Her dedication to her clients and her sharp legal mind make her a standout leader in our firm.
- Paulina Hernandez – 2026 Woman of Wonder: Kicking off 2026, Deluxe Version Magazine named Paulina Hernandez a “Woman of Wonder.” This award celebrates women who demonstrate exceptional leadership and influence in the Las Vegas valley, and Paulina embodies those qualities every day.
Looking Ahead
As we continue through 2026, our goal remains unchanged: to provide elite legal services while remaining deeply rooted in the community that has given us so much. We are grateful for these honors, but we are even more grateful for the trust the people of Las Vegas place in us every day.
