Millie Mummery is a Litigation Attorney at De Castroverde Injury Law, where she is dedicated to providing zealous and results-driven representation to clients. Demonstrating a commitment to advocacy early in her career, Millie appeared in her first jury trial within one month of being sworn in as an attorney.
Originally from a small town in southwest Colorado, Millie began her professional career as a real estate broker before transitioning to the legal field. She later managed a personal injury law firm in Denver, Colorado, where she worked closely with victims of catastrophic injury and gained valuable mentorship from experienced trial attorneys. Her experience in that role inspired her decision to attend law school and dedicate her career to advocating for injured individuals.
Millie earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law, graduating cum laude with Pro Bono Honors. During law school, she was a member of the Society of Advocates Mock Trial Team, representing the university in national competitions and receiving recognition for her excellence in advocacy and opening statements. She also served as President of Boyd’s chapter of the American Constitution Society (ACS) and was selected by ACS National as a Next Generation Leader.
While attending law school, Millie externed with Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom and participated in the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic, where she represented immigration clients, handled appellate matters, and drafted legislation. She is the co-author of Assembly Bill 407, which was enacted into law by Governor Lombardo in 2023. Prior to becoming an attorney with De Castroverde Injury Law, Millie worked as a law clerk with the firm for two years.
Millie is admitted to practice in the State of Nevada, the State of Colorado, and the United States District Court, District of Nevada.
Outside the practice of law, Millie enjoys music festivals, road trips, and snowboarding.
