And the Teacher Appreciation Award Winners Are…

Teachers have played a huge role in the lives of DLG partners Alex and Orlando De Castroverde. Both of their wives are former elementary school teachers, and their sister is currently a first-grade teacher. As a result, the De Castroverdes wanted to find a way to honor a few of the outstanding teachers who continue to shape the future of Clark County.

This past November, DLG began accepting nominations for a Teacher Appreciation Award designed to highlight Clark County educators. The goal was to recognize teachers that have made a positive impact on their students and instilled lessons that will last, or have lasted, way beyond graduation.

After receiving hundreds of entries, here are the winners of this year’s Teacher Appreciation Awards.

DLG has been honored to present these deserving teachers with this award. The nomination letters were touching, and show just how powerful teachers can be in the lives of their students, even years after the student moves on.

Thanks again to everyone who nominated a teacher for this year’s award and a huge thank you to all of the amazing Clark County teachers that work hard to improve our community on a daily basis.
