6 Las Vegas Summer Fairs and Festivals You Can’t Miss
Summer in Las Vegas means festival season, and there are plenty of exciting events coming to the city this year. If you’re interested in having a fun and memorable summer, mark your calendar for these top fairs and festivals coming to Las Vegas this year.
Nevada Women’s Film Festival
The Nevada Women’s Film Festival returns to Las Vegas for its eighth year from June 23-26, 2022. The annual event celebrates and supports the contributions of women in film and comprises submissions from all genres, including shorts, fiction, documentaries, and animation. Past festivals have featured more than 50 films from 20 countries.
This film festival is the only event in the state to showcase female directors and women in key creative positions while supporting a wide range of worldviews, backgrounds, and experiences. As a result, filmmakers of all genders worldwide are encouraged to present their submissions, which means some films in the festival are not directed by women. However, these films usually feature strong female characters or subjects and depict women positively.
Some of the awards presented at the festival include Best Student Film, Best Animated Film, Best Short Documentary, Audience Favorite, Best Short Fiction, and Best Feature Documentary.
Exodus Festival Las Vegas
One of the city’s biggest and most popular summer festivals is Exodus Festival Las Vegas. This electronic music festival hosts performances from some of the biggest DJs in the world, and the shows take place in different casinos and clubs across Vegas. You need one wristband to gain entry into 15 premiere nightclubs and pool parties throughout Las Vegas.
Two of the summer weekends you can choose from are June 30 through July 4 and July 28 through August 1. And the artists you may see at the festival include The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Diplo, Alesso, Loud Luxury, Marshmello, and Lil Jon.
Tickets for Exodus Festival Las Vegas start at $89.99. If you’re planning to attend with a group of friends, check out the Fox Pack or Wolf Pack packages to get your wristbands at a lower price than purchasing a single pass separately. You can also elevate your experience by booking a private VIP cabana, daybed, or table.
